SK hynix is one of the world's two largest DRAM producers and a major manufacturer of NAND flash memory, serving customers across South Korea, China, the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Its memory products span server, graphics, mobile, and PC DRAM variants, standalone and multi-chip NAND packages, and solid-state drives. It also operates a non-memory foundry business, manufacturing application-specific chips for third parties.

Customers include cloud hyperscalers, networking equipment makers, smartphone brands, PC manufacturers, consumer electronics firms, and automakers. Originally founded as Hynix Semiconductor in 1949, it was rebranded under SK Group ownership in March 2012 and is headquartered in Icheon-si, South Korea.
