Meito provides the manufacture and sale of confectionery, beverages, seasonings, food additives, and other food products in Japan and globally. It provides chocolates, premix, candies, ice creams, and nutritious food products. Additionally, it manufactures and sells pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, medical devices, veterinary medicines, cosmetics, and chemical products.

It also constructs and manages public golf courses; and rents real estate properties. Incorporated in 1945 and headquartered in Nagoya, Japan, Meito was formerly known as Meito Sangyo Co., Ltd. before rebranding in September 2025.
