Sumco Corporation

Sumco provides the manufacture and sale of silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry globally. It offers polished, annealed, epitaxial, junction isolated, silicon-on-insulator, and reclaimed polished wafers, as well as provides monocrystalline ingots. Incorporated in 1999 and headquartered in Minato, Japan, the company was formerly known as Sumitomo Mitsubishi Silicon Corp. before rebranding in August 2005.
