SUMINOE provides the planning, manufacture, and sale of interior products globally. Its operations are structured into three segments: Interior Business. Its portfolio also includes Automotive & Vehicle Interior Business, and Functional Material Business.
The Interior Business segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of carpets, curtains, wallpaper, and various flooring materials, as well as interior construction and spatial design.
Its Automotive & Vehicle Interior Business segment offers interior materials for automobiles, buses, and trains. The Functional Materials Business segment manufactures and sells heated carpets, related deodorizing products, aircraft interior materials, and interior materials.
It also designs, constructs, and supervises construction of spaces. Founded in 1883 and headquartered in Osaka, Japan, SUMINOE was formerly known as Suminoe Textile Co., Ltd. before rebranding in December 2024.
