The Biochemical segment is engaged in the manufacture and/or sale of animal health products and chlortetracycline, which are used as feed additives to promote growth of livestock, prevent or cure animal diseases, and enhance efficiency under the Shihao and Citifac brand names. The Investment segment is engaged in the trading of machinery and the manufacture and sale of automotive parts.
Its portfolio also includes caterpillar products, including excavators, power generators, bulldozers and compactors spare parts, and the manufacture and sale of motorcycle carburetors. The company serves livestock farms, pharmaceutical companies, trading companies, feed mills, automobile manufacturers, and motorcycle manufacturers. The company was formerly known as Ek Chor China Motorcycle Co. Ltd. Chia Tai Enterprises International Limited was incorporated in 1987 and is based in Central, Hong Kong.
