The company offers anisotropic conductive films, optical elastic resins, optical films, architectural window films, double and single coated tapes, industrial adhesive tapes, opto semiconductor elements, optical and opto sensors and Optical communication-use devices, thermal conductive sheets, inorganic waveplates and polarizers, inorganic diffusers, anti-reflection films, and sputtering targets
UV curable resins for optical disks, as well as DxShield, a film for medical eye shield; and leak repair products through Infra-Aid brand. Additionally, it offers surface mounted type fuses and water treatment agents for inorganic effluent; and solar cell conductive films for photovoltaic modules.
Its products are used in various applications, such as television, note and tablet PC, smartphones, automobiles, optical communication, factory automation, currency validation, medical and healthcare, and analyzers and measuring equipment. Founded in 1962 and headquartered in Tochigi, Japan, Dexerials was formerly known as Sony Chemical & Information Device Corporation before rebranding in September 2012.
