Its operations are structured into two segments, Marine Logistics ย Upstream; and Marine Logistics - Downstream. It owns and charters out offshore support vessels for use by the oil majors in exploration and production activities
Including anchor handling function, towing activities, firefighting, recovery support, and transporting equipment and cargoes to and from offshore installations Liquid bulk carriers for use by the petro-chemical and oleo-chemical industries to transport liquid bulk products, as well as marine logistics and tanker management services. It operates 20 anchor handling tug supply vessels, 2 straight supply vessels, 4 chemical vessels, and 4 clean petroleum product tankers.
Formerly known as Silk Holdings Berhad, the company rebranded as Marine & General Berhad in June 2017. Marine & General Berhad was incorporated in 1996 and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
