Sec Carbon,Limited provides the manufacture and sale of graphite electrodes for steel making. It offers SK-B graphitized cathode blocks for aluminum smelting. Its portfolio also includes graphite electrodes that are used in electric arc furnaces for steelmaking, and carbon and graphite specialties and materials for use in the chemical, electrochemistry, machine, and metallurgy industries fine powder that is used in various industries, such as automobile paint, sliding materials, metallurgic uses, and batteries.

Additionally, it is also involved in R&D related to molten salt electrolysis. Incorporated in 1934 and headquartered in Amagasaki, Japan, Sec Carbon,Limited was formerly known as SEC Corporation before rebranding in October 2006.
