Aichi manufactures and sells mechanized vehicles for electric utilities, telecommunications, construction, cargo handling, shipbuilding, and rail industries globally. It offers truck-mounted and self-propelled aerial work platforms, bridge inspection vehicle, and digger derricks. Incorporated in 1943 and headquartered in Ageo, Japan, the company was formerly known as Aichi Sharyo Co., Ltd. before rebranding in 1992.
