Sangetsu provides the planning, development, manufacture, sale, and installation of interior decorating products in Japan and globally. Its business is organized into the Domestic Interior, Domestic Exterior, and Overseas segments.
The Domestic Interior segment is involved in the planning, manufacture, and sale of wallcoverings, flooring materials, fabrics, and interior design materials space creation, design, and construction. Its Domestic Exterior segment offers exterior products, such as gates, fences, and carports, as well as design proposals and construction for outdoor spaces.
The Overseas segment engages in the manufacture and sale of interior design materials, space design, and construction overseas. Founded in 1849 and headquartered in Nagoya, Japan, Sangetsu was formerly known as Sangetsudoshoten Co., Ltd. before rebranding in 1970.
