Sarawak Consolidated Industries Berhad, an investment holding company manufactures and sells precast concrete products and industrialized building systems for use in the infrastructure and construction industries primarily in Malaysia.
Its operations are structured into Corporate, Property Trading, Construction/EPCC/Project Management, and Others segments. The Corporate segment provides management services. The Property Trading segment deals and trades in properties.
The Construction/EPCC/Project Management segment supplies and installs industrialized building system components, construction contracts, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning that includes ping system, process control and instrumentation, equipment installation, road construction, road maintenance, and related services.
The Others segment is involved in the trading of shares, dropship, and trading sales, as well as property investment and development. Its portfolio also includes dealing with capital markets and derivatives instruments, infrastructure and related business, prefabricated lightweight system products, trading of construction materials, and manufacturing and sale of precast concrete pipes, prestressed spun concrete piles, and related concrete products. Incorporated in 1975 and headquartered in Kuching, Malaysia, the company was formerly known as Sarawak Concrete Industries Berhad before rebranding in July 2009.
