Its portfolio also includes the manufacture and sale of welded steel pipes, tubes, and steel profiles for dry construction, and producing and distributing of desalinated water to supply water to mining companies.
Formerly known as Compañía de Acero del Pacífico S.A. de Inversiones, the company rebranded as CAP S.A. in May 1991. CAP S.A. was incorporated in 1946 and is based in Las Condes, Chile.
