Capitan Silver provides the acquisition, exploration, evaluation, and development of mineral properties in Mexico. The company explores for gold, silver, lead, zinc, and diamond deposits.

Its flagship project is the 100%-owned Cruz de Plata project covering an area of approximately 2,551 hectares located in the Peñoles Mining District of Durango, Mexico. Incorporated in 2019 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Capitan Silver was formerly known as Capitan Mining Inc. before rebranding in March 2023.
