Energean provides the exploration, production, and development of oil and gas. Its operations are structured into Europe, Israel, and New Ventures segments. Its flagship project is the 100% owned Karish and Karish North projects located in Israel, as well as financing services.

Its portfolio also includes carbon capture storage, and holds a gas transportation license. Founded in 2007 and based in London, the United Kingdom, Energean was formerly known as Energean Oil & Gas plc before rebranding in May 2020.
