Galata Wind Enerji provides generation and sale of electricity from renewable energy in Turkey. The company operates three wind power plants and three solar power plants with a total capacity of approximately 297.2 MW.

It also installs systems for the generation of energy from solar radiation. Its portfolio also includes constructs, commissions, and leases facilities for the generation of electrical energy, and develops projects in Europe.

Incorporated in 2006 and headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, the company was formerly known as GY Enerji Danismanlik Poje Mühendislik Üretim, Ticaret ve Sanayi Limited Sirketi before rebranding in January 2012. Galata Wind Enerji A.S. is a subsidiary of Dogan Sirketler Grubu Holding A.S.
