American Lithium provides the identification, acquisition, and exploration of mineral properties in Canada, the United States, and Peru. The company explores lithium and uranium deposits.

Its properties include the TLC Lithium Project located in the Nye County, Nevada; and the Falchani Lithium project and the Macusani Uranium project located in Puno, Peru. Incorporated in 1974 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, American Lithium was formerly known as Menika Mining Ltd. before rebranding in April 2016.
