Founded in 1859 and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, the company was formerly known as PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk before rebranding in January 2026. As of April 30, 2018, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk operates as a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero).
